The Scared to Death Blog Tour!

So I’ve completed my degree with time to spare until I start my next, next year! What better way to celebrate than to take part in a blog tour! And this book sounds like it could be a ripper 🙂 I’ll be posting my review both here, and on goodreads, on the 14th of December. The details of the tour are as follows;

Blurb

A serial killer murdering for kicks.

A detective seeking revenge.

When the body of a snatched schoolgirl is found in an abandoned biosciences building, the case is first treated as a kidnapping gone wrong.

But Detective Kay Hunter isn’t convinced, especially when a man is found dead with the ransom money still in his possession.

When a second schoolgirl is taken, Kay’s worst fears are realised.

With her career in jeopardy and desperate to conceal a disturbing secret, Kay’s hunt for the killer becomes a race against time before he claims another life.

For the killer, the game has only just begun…

Scared to Death is a gripping fast paced crime thriller from author Rachel Amphlett, in a new series introducing Kay Hunter – a detective with a hidden past and an uncertain future…

The Twisted Knot Blog Tour

So I’ve been lucky enough to have read this book and will be having the author on my blog in July for an interview! I finished the book yesterday and will be also posting my review when it’s my turn on the blog tour. Below is a little on the author and book, as well as the tour stops. Pop over and visit the blogger and stay up-to-date with the goings on.

From the Author JM Peace

My second novel The Twisted Knot will be published next month (available June 28).

Set in a fictional Queensland town, Constable Sammi Willis investigates an apparent suicide, uncovering a dark family secret, an unsolved crime and a town seeking vengeance.

A marked man. A damaged cop. A town full of secrets.

After her abduction and near death at the hands of a sadistic killer, Constable Samantha Willis is back in the uniform. Despite being on desk duty, rumours reach Sammi that someone in Angel’s Crossing has been hurting little girls, and before long a mob is gathering to make sure justice is served.

So when a man is found hanging in his shed, the locals assume the pedophile has finally given in to his guilt. That is, until Sammi delves further into the death.

Over the coming weeks I will be stopping by a number of fantastic Australian book blogs to talk about the book and answer some great questions. Be sure to follow my stops along the way and join the conversation using the #thetwistedknot hashtag!

Coming soon: My very first blog tour!

So, over the past four years I’ve been like a hermit hiding in my ‘cave’ which is really my desk.  Tomorrow I have two, three hour, end of semester exams, and next week my last one before I go on my mid-semester break.  Woohoo, and this time around I’m participating in my very first blog tour, I’m so excited.

I’ve just received my very first hardcopy ARC of The Twist Knot by J.M Peace and it sounds fantastic! I look forward to delving into it, after next week. In the meantime, I’m formulating some questions for when I have Ms Pearce on my blog, which is proving to be quite different than formulating a hypothesis for a paper, LOL.

Stay tuned for my turn in July to host my review and author interview!
