The library stash…

So I visited the library today and collected some books to read. Starting with Forgiving the Dead Man Walking by Debbie Morris. I’ve seen the movie which I enjoyed so this book should be good.

Review: If I Can’t Have You by Gregg Olsen and Rebecca Morris

I listened to this true story on Via Audible.com, the first time I’ve ever listened to a book before and I was pleasantly surprised. The narrator of this booK was very nice to listen to, wasn’t distracting, and gave the book that bit of a three dimensions feel to it. The story itself…

This story follows the disappearance of young mother of two Susan Powell. Her husband Josh Powell is the prime suspect. Over a course of two years, the authors take us on a roller coaster ride into the goings on inside this family and what Susan endured, from a controlling and cold husband, to a sexually perverted father-in-law. Until one day, two years after Susan’s disappearance the unthinkable happens to her two young boys and their suspect father…

A truly harrowing story, I teared up a few times while on the treadmill at the gym 😜 the descriptive and informative writing, along with the great narrator, made this story a pleasure to listen to.

I rate this: πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“š out of five
